BCS Global Markets' research team has been joined by Natalia Lavrova as a Senior Economist and Dmitry Bulgakov as a Senior Energy Analyst. Natalia Lavrova has more than ten years of experience in international financial markets. Prior to joining BCS GM, Natalia was head of the macroeconomic department at the Eurasian Fund for Stabilisation and Development and also served as a senior macroeconomic analyst at Alfa Bank. In 2015-2018, she worked as an analyst at PricewaterhouseCoopers and VEB.RF Bank, in 2012-2013, Natalia was employed at the Center for Transatlantic Relations (Washington, D.C.), and in 2009-2014, she worked at the Russian Ministry of Economic Development.

Natalia Lavrova graduated from Social and Economic Institute of the Russian State Technical University in 2009, holds a PhD in Economics from Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, and an MA in Economics from MGIMO University and The University of Warwick (UK). She also holds a Data Science degree from the Higher School of Economics.

Dmitry Bulgakov has more than ten years of experience at the largest Russian and international financial and government institutions. Since 2015, for six years, he was Deputy Head of the Expert and Research Center for Fuel and Energy Sector of the Russian Energy Agency under the Russian Ministry of Energy. Prior to that, for ten years he served as a senior energy analyst at the Russian office of Deutsche Bank.  Dmitry is recognized among the best utilities analysts by Institutional Investor. As a member of the team he won the 1st place in Emerging EMEA Utilities team rating and 2d place in CEEMEA Utilities team rating among all-Russia utilities by II.

Dmitry graduated from MGIMO University with a degree in international journalism and has a master's degree in economics from Bowling Green State University (USA).
